I'm sure it suprised you when I kissed you on the lips whilst standing kerbside at the airport. You didnt react one way or another - or I was too nervous to notice. We have stayed in touch after that event (a lot actually) so I know it at least didn't offend you and I realise there are complications in my life that tend to make it a subject "not for discussion". However, complications not withstanding I do wish you had said something!

Although romantic sounding, don't cheat on that other person... honesty/bravery is key.

Dont worry, OP - there's no cheating and I wouldn't place my friend in the position of being the "other person". I don't want to loose a good friend! This is simply a question arising from a moments behavior on my part and more importantly a question that can't be asked of the party concerned! Oh and there are one or two complications other than the one you so correctly found between the lines.....
