If you're a single guy in Van and you can't find a lady, it's not them. IT'S YOU. This city is teaming with awesome women who are miles ahead of the manboys, himbo's and sissies and it shows wherever you go out. Chivalry, honour and intelligence are just a few of the simple qualities women seek in all men but rarely find and this fact is beyond obvious. I don't know what happened to men but I don't have too many male friends anymore and I could care less. I don't meet many men that aren't beyond a grade 12 mentality or aren't card carrying members of the fart jokes, beers, beach and boobs are cool club. I keep meeting super passive/aggressive little men or the overly pumped up mma aggressive/passive types that think violence is a hobby. I have no problem meeting people because I choose to do it and I use a simple HI. You know "HI" that word that worked so well when you where seven, it still works just fine as an adult. I'm a Man and I challenge Vancouver to man up. It's better to be an original then a carbon copy. Women approach me because they know I'm not a clone of the clone. You guys are suckers and they ignore you all so wise up slackers, hard work has rewards. Sincerely, The brother that's not from your mother.

As a young child, I was forced to endure years of unpleasant and even traumatizing experiences at the hands of my own mother. After my father had finally gained legal custodianship of me, I began displaying sadistic tendencies. There was a group of kids within walking distance of my new home that I would hang out with regularly. One of these friends had a younger sister who was no more than 3 or 4 years old, if not younger, who I myself would terrorize. She would be playing with her toys and I'd take them away from her. I'd pinch her and throw disconcerting glares her way. I'd do almost anything to make her cry. And when my friend?her older sister?would inquire why she was crying and terrified, I would lie about it. My friend simply dismissed her younger sister's "stories" of what had happened because they seemed so absurd, which probably only exaggerated her fear. I took pleasure from her misery and rejoiced in watching her suffer. I am not at all proud of my behaviour. It was despicable and therefore inexcusable.

I sued my deceased dad's wife almost half of his estate. I was awarded a shit ton of money. I gave my mom a portion of it.. Im almost done grad school but I plan on doing things I've always wanted to do: buy a sailboat, build wells where people need them, travel for a year, propose to my gf and own a ranch together with her horse and I want a pet pig.

herpes confusion

I have type 1 herpes (genital). This is the same strand that causes oral herpes (cold sores). I have only ever had one outbreak. What I don't understand is this-how is it any different if you get a bj from a girl who has had a cold sore in her life, or if you have sex with me? Most guys would never, ever ask a girl if she's ever had a cold sore before they would allow her to go down on them...and i bet most guys wouldn't care if she had. I mean, they say 80% of people of had cold sores in their lives. However, tell a guy you've had one outbreak of genital herpes and they wont' have sex with you-even though it's the same freaking virus! Please dont' comment if you only have mean things to say-I have been careful my whole life and have never had unprotected sex.It was just bad luck, I guess. And like I said-I've only ever had one oubreak. Physicaly it's not a big deal...but socially... I'm genuinely curious why there is such a double standard around this virus, and I wish it would change! If 70% of people have the herpes type 1 virus in their body, why does it matter if it's on your mouth, or your genitals (as a person receiving a bj or having normal sex). Hope this makes sense.

it seems like every guy that i date (outdoorsy, active, nice) is a pot-smoker. i am in my 20s and kind of sick of the stoner lifestyle. but i don't think that the non-MJ-smoking-babes exist! if they do, where are they? oh vancouver hotties, i love you, but you're bringing me down.

Women who are my friends or who know me always tell me I'm a cool guy,a cool looking guy who dresses cool &/or nice, a nice guy, a open-minded guy, yet they never tell me I'm a good looking guy (calling me hot would be too much), well it may not be important to others but for once me being called a good looking or attractive would be just as important as the being cool, cool looking, nice, open-minded guy. Just saying
