This world is overpopulated. A cure for cancer would actually be a bad thing. I've lost loved ones too but this world can't sustain that many people

Why don't you lead by example and move to Mercury? I hear it is quite warm there. I lost a brother last year to cancer and would give anything to have them back.

I agree the planet is oversaturated with human garbage. But that's no reason to abandon curing cancer, and all the misery it brings to people around the world.

To try to offer insight to someone as low on the intellect (and sensitivity) scale would be both pointless and unfair. So how about I just say, karma is a bitch, but I hope you're next on her list.

Only ignorant people don't understand the advantages of advancement in medical research and technology, a cure for cancer has infinite opportunities that span far beyond what you can even image as far as future possibilities go in this feild of study. The world's overpopulation issue will be tempred by one thing, and one thing only- prevention...and that means more people should wear rubbers- ESPECIALLY YOU. As a matter of fact, I suggest you get a vasectomy immediately.

I have just finished battling breast cancer and I'm in my early 30s. I'm lucky to be alive as I just had the fight of my life. I hope to live a long and healthy one too.
It's too bad ppl like you can't be the ones who get this shitty disease so that you would know how it feels to have a brush with death.
Maybe then you wouldn't be such a heartless asshole.

The world is overpopulated with cancerous mentalities . Much like the ignorant one you possess. The Worlds population has little to do with the EVIL disease and more to do with sex. Developed countries are actually in danger of being below the population level needed to sustain itself. We are NOT actually overpopulated. Read a book or two... or three.

Cancer is in all of us. There are many cures for cancer. The medical establishment is looking for the most profitable one. There are better ways to die. There are better ways to prevent overpopulation. War isn't the answer, neither is disease or starvation but if people turn a blind eye to the question of "what is a sustainable population?" they will awaken (or who ever is left) to an unpleasant effect after the cause works out its inevitability.
