I'd go somewhere other than Vancouver if you want real life mates or anyone who ever wants to commit to you relationship wise. Vancouver is a dead end hole for lasting anything. Hence why I am moving to Toronto.

ago - so I just visit Vancouver and BC as often as I can. Even my family would happily move but my work wouldn't move so easily - need to find a similar type of business to invest in and do it that way. Enjoy mate, the locals are friendly definitely make great friends and well from a male point of view lots of great gals too! Don't worry about those here who pour shit on the Vancouver dating scene - whilst I speak more as an outsider looking in than an active participant (in my more recent visits) - you get what you give and that accent we have helps!
