The unfortunate truth is, if they aren't doing those things on their own, then they aren't worth your dreaming. You can't hurry love....

@Truth - I dont quite agree....there's this person I know that I'd love to do that to but because of our unusual circumstances I wont as without any clear lead from them I'd rather keep the good friendship than blow everything on an unwelcome approach (although something tells me it might not be totally unwelcome)

I don't agree entirely with "Truth Is..." There could be reasons for why they're holding back - they don't want to smother you and scare you off, they are unsure of how to communicate and need a little help, there are lots of reasons and the fact that they like you and don't want to lose you is scary? A little bit of communication might be the helpful nudge they need...
