Where are all the deep-voiced singers nowadays? Is there no market for male singers with "normal range" voices?
There used to be Luther Vandross, Rick Astley (I was a longtime fan, way before "rickrolling" existed), and even the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley, had a nice full voice.
As much as I would like to fill the gap I don't see any market potential with the way current music trends are going. It's already bad enough having to sing the same old karaoke songs EVERY single time.
I wonder if 33 is too old to start opera...or rapping.

Yeah, and there were superstars like Neil Sedaka, Peter Cetera, The Bee Gees, Donny Osmond, who all sounded like field mice squeaking away. It ain't no "current trend."
