But they are all cold as ice, stuck up, pretentious, vain, shallow and conceited. Pretty exterior; empty interior. This is why I left the country, and met an amazing, kind, affectionate, smart, interesting beautiful, real woman in Ireland.

Oh for crying out loud! Can we please, please get over the never ending rant about how the women in Vancouver are so cold and horrible. Geez, every other week there is a post on here ranting about Vancouver women. I'm a Vancouver woman, and I am so sick of being bashed simply for being a woman that *gasp* lives in Vancouver. Apparently that alone makes me all the things you described (for the record, I'm none of the things you mentioned). It's challenging enough to meet people in this city without having to go up against preconceived notions.

You need to get out more. Woman in Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Ukraine, Russian, London will blow your mind. Woman in Vancouver are alright but can't hold a candle to woman around the world.

Vancouver chick, you're on the mopiest part of the angstiest local news site in Vancouver. Let's just say that this isn't the place to hear the opinions of thick-skinned, classy ladies' men without serious issues. Anyone with half a brain knows that there's tons of great women everywhere, and different places have women who aren't better or worse, but special in different ways.

Well I only used The Mall(Pacific Center/Oakridge/Metrotown) as an example because it's a total melting pot of all the cultures that have merged in Vancouver...If I go to the Biltmore to see a show there are lots of Hot Girls/Women as well.Cheers.

Why are we so fucking obsessed with this issue of hot women/cold women/why are guys pigs,I'm so lonely/I'll never meet a guy/or girl,girls don't smile at me/guys don't smile at me,guys/or girls don't find me attractive enough, blah, blah.Well join a group or club,volunteer,etc,each person should be the number one person in their own lives, love yourself first & yeah if you don't meet a guy or girl & remain single for the rest of your lives, so what, this is'nt the 1950's, hey one can be sexual with themselves & get as much pleasure by themselves as much as if they had a sexual partner, another thing we can't put our expectations high when we want to meet someone, there ARE men & women who don't get into trendy,high fashion lifestyle. That's just one opinion. Any feedback?
