I am very curious yet at the same time very grossed out about the idea of having sex while I'm having my period.. I came across internet testimonies saying that it relieves cramps and is really not that gross if done in the shower?? And how do I approach my bf about this... And I am not a vampire

Just do it. It's exactly the same. Go on...be gross! If you're a neat freak, throw an extra sheet on the bed, chair, floor, table, wherever. Now, oral sex is a whole different ball of wax...and I am a vampire.

Yes, I agree with Beth.....just do it! I personally wouldn't be able to go a week lol. And it helps my headaches, so it might be able to help your cramps :-)

Go for it. I've done it, I know a lot of guys who have. There's nothing wrong with it. If your bf's still weirded out by it, just turn the lights off and tell him you're wetter than usual. He'll probably roll over and fall asleep before he even notices.

It seems more girls are grossed out by this than guys. We like pussy, all the time, and almost everyone I know has their 'red wings'. Just put down a towel, and maybe not do it on white sheets. Of course you're not a vampire, unless you can eat yourself out; if your man will at that time of the month, maybe he is...

I've always strayed away because any woman I have been involved with seems to think the idea of sex during their period is gross. I've never been challenged on my preconceptions, but if I were with a woman who asked me to try it I probably would. Like I say, its pretty much always the woman who backs out of period sex first - at least from my experience.

seriously? you must be very young because having sex during your period is pretty vanilla. everyone i have ever discussed it with does it. the idea that it's gross is ridiculous. it can just be a bit messy. any guy who isn't ok with it is kind of an uptight prude who probably isn't great in bed anyways. and it really is great for cramps.

If it bothers you that much, use an Instead cup. Then there`s absolutely no mess. (you get these at the drug store where the tampons and pads are--they are a disposable cup--an alternative to pads and tampons. they are in a purple and white box)

Vampire or not sex during your period is a must. Stay away from doing it during the first or second day but after that you are good to go. Generally in my experience the flow stops while you are having sex so its not as messy as on my think. You have to for sure be comfortable with the person you are with and vise versa, last thing you want is a guy who makes you feel gross about mother a perfectly natural thing. They poo all the time, we have our period every month, eventually we all get over it!

Just do it! Shower together afterwards. Its great for all of the extra lube! But keep the lights dimmed. The sight of all of the blood might make you feel a little self conscious.
