I was bullied and harrassed as a temporary employee at a municipal gov't and as a result was not brought back to work and have been unemployed and virtually homless since 2009. The union can't help me because I don't exist anymore. I have spoken to BC Human Rights, several advacates, and nobody is willing to "fight city hall". I just want to work and ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else again. Can anyone help me please? Bullying and harrassement today is what sexual discrimination was 20 years ago. I just want to tell my story to someone that may have the clout to affect change. I know I'm not the only person that has gone thru this, but maybe I'm the person that can bring about change.

Make a documentary about it--turn to art the way Michael Moore and so many others have had to do. :) You live in "Hollywood North" the resources are there if the passion is!

My sister is going through the same situation...and may be willing to help coach you through this. She is almost at the end of a 10-20 year battle...and believe me it's a long one.
And for you who is saying to suck it up...please don't judge - it is a horrible thing to be going through and it is not something to be taken lightly!

i went thru about 2-3 years of ridiculous abuse at a gov't term job. my supervisor would say 'he's not here so somebody take over his work' and the team would say 'he's sitting right there!' Management showed their true colours eventually and turnabout is fair play so i would burp in meetings and mutter 'bunch of clowns' from my cubicle. they told me i didn't have much of a future there and i had to respect the chain of command if i wanted to continue to show up there. they asked me to report to someone when i enter the building and report to someone when i'm leaving. along with other illlegal and strange conditions.the idiots wrote it all down and asked me to sign the document. i forwarded the document to my former union rep and the union is watching these idiots closely to see if they do it to someone else. i completed my contract and got out of there
