God, I'm sorry. I have to respond. The spelling and grammar is atrocious. Either this "confession" has been texted while this person's drives on the Trans-Canada or they are just plain stupid. "You ride there ass and high beam them and they still don't move". Anytime a driver does this to me, I will slow down to the speed limit - just to piss them off. You want to know why? Because you're an asshole. So confession poster- this is your wake up call. And yes, by the sounds of it, one day you will likely "road rage". Hope that works out for you.

oh, man! Guys, I was thinking that here all drivers were nice, gentle, respectful...not as overseas, where the wild wild driving is a must and no one pedestrian is safe. I can say that without any offence to anyone because, actually, I am from overseas. Anyway, yes, you are definitely right: the fast lane is a fast lane, and simply you should move and not slow down. Is it called FAST lane, isn't it? Moreover, it is very very dangerous to slow down in the acceleration lane, too...it's almost criminal. Many accidents happen in this way on the highways.

are complete dicks on hwy 1. i too drive it almost daily from the north shore to chilliwack with lots of fv stops in between. every person has their own idea of what 'fast' is. some drivers want me doing 120, some 130. if i'm doing 110 i get the ass grind from, you guessed it, guys just like you. i move over pretty quick but i silently curse your impatience and aggression every single time because it's drivers like you that cause 90% of accidents.

if you are doing 110 in the fast lane and there is no one else in the slow lane move over and let the idiot through doing 110+. Greater Vancouver drivers are notorious lane hoggers at ANY speed - passing on the inside [left] lane is also dangerous - you are not cops regulating the speed of others by hogging the lane - it is not your job to do that.

People whine more about cars parked the opposite way than perpetual lane hoggers - go figure !

Regarding me, everyone on hwy 1. can be really relaxed because I do not drive any car here...furthermore public transportation are so efficient in Canada.

i agree but you gotta be driving hwy 1 at 4 in the morning to have no one in the slow lane. the slow lane is really, too slow, too many huge trucks rolling on it so its the fast lane if you wanna move at a decent speed.

Riding their asses and flashing your high beams is road rage. People NEED to calm the hell down on the roads. You are a road bully.

We all share the road, and you don't dictate the speed limit. I drive at what I'm comfortable with. If you can pass, then do it, it's only 5 seconds of your life. There are more things to get angry about.

That's quite the myopic contradictory statement.

Speed Variance is a far greater factor in road safety than overall speed. If you're that asshole on the freeway going slower than the flow of traffic you're making the roads unsafe regardless of the speed limit. Show a little common courtesy you selfish pricks and drive in the right lane with the people going the same speed as you.

that's contradictory but what the main point I wanted to make was: traffic will never be ideal, getting mad at one driver will not change every driver. What's the point of getting pissed off if your energy is spent showing the speed limit driver or the one who's driving slower than you your annoyance? Chances are that you can't change their driving habits, you're just being a negative person and there'll probably be many more people that'll be doing the same thing on your drive to wherever you're going.
