I automatically press every walk signal button that I encounter, even when I don't intend to cross the street. It is done simply to stall traffic in an attempt to frustrate car drivers. Hopefully it will help to push a few of them towards using a more environmentally friendly form of transportation.

That's ridiculous and what you're doing is pretty sh!tty for the environment to boot. Do you have any idea how much pollution idling vehicles release?

So pedestro, when a bus full of environmentally friendly passengers stops at one of your crosswalks and idles for a minute or two without you crossing the street, who are you affecting now?

Of course all those buttons do is make sure the walk signals are timed with the traffic lights and the audio beep, and/or countdown happens. They don't actually control traffic.
But I used to do the same thing before I knew!! ;)

Time is money and the longer it takes for goods and services to be delivered, the more expensive you're life will be in this city.
Such narrow minded idiotic thinking from a peon thinking he/she is doing something noble for the fellow citizens of Vancouver.
Get a fucking education you retard! And clue in that your plumber or Pizza delivery guy can't use transit!
