i teach yoga and i'm a young woman. this doesnt automatically make me a sex object. im sick of dudes making subtle perverted comments about my profession. yes, yoga gives you a good body but yoga is a deeply personal and spiritual practice, and does not = kama sutra or whatever else you relate it to. peace

OH FOR CHRISSAKES

You don't even know what you are talking about. You must be talking to young immature boys. An OHM is a unit of measurement used to describe electrical resistance. You obviously can't distinguish the difference. You should not be a teacher.......a deeply spiritual experience????? You probably haven't a clue as to what that is!!!!!! If you knew you wouldn't yap about it like that.

For chrissakes indeed! You seize on this woman's apparent misspelling of the ancient Sanskrit syllable om or aum and proceed to ridicule and dismiss everything she has to say.
I've heard similar comments or suggestions about female yoga teachers from men who certainly weren't young and immature ... at least not chronologically. Also I would love to know how you are able to so quickly judge her spiritual beliefs and practice and decide that she isn't qualified to be a teacher. All that from an errant "h".
If only I should live long enough to be even one tenth as omniscient as you so obviously are I will consider myself very fortunate ... indeed blessed.

Many men in Vancouver have no clue how to talk to women, and feel intimidated and threatened by them. They compensate by being childish, crude, and sexist.

@mm basically has it. Attractive women make guys anxious, if they haven't learned the skills yet to manage that and have an enjoyable connection, they resort to strange mocking, lurid stuff, insinuations, even hostility, to try to manage the anxiety. Eventually they grow out if it and become gentlemen. It takes time. The moral outrage that misspellings frequently provoke on this site are odd. My pad autocorrects and other unintended words can appear. I see the title of the posting as a cool irony.

All of you are wrong. Some men act like that because they secretly want a strong woman to treat them like a worm.

Holy shit. I can't believe this trash. In a country fuelled by materialism and vanity could we expect no less. What bullshit. The poster is so fucking right and it has nothing to do with intimidation and feeling threatened by women. It's all about sex and nothing else. People think too much. IT'S ALL ABOUT SEX.

looking around there's heart ache and it's every where that you go. every thing that you try to escape it's part of the human condition the pain of life that you know. when you long to be some thing more than you are today i know a place where you can get away. all you need is your own imagination. so use it that's what it's for. go inside for your best inspiration. your dreams will open the door. it does not matter who you are. come and join the party. let's get it started now. i think you wanna come over...you look familiar ... i didn't recognize you with your clothes on...do you wanna dance? if it feels good i don't know what you're waiting for. some of you relaly need to loose your minds. and everyone who reads this will have their own interpretation and perception. yeah and those of you who don't get it i don't give a f-u-u-u-c-k because i know what i'm talking about. Peace + Love
