There was once a guy, who was older than me and ready to settle. I was too young and had no dating experience back than, so I wasn't ready for a serious relationship. Now years later he's married, and now I deeply regret not giving it a chance. He's everything I want in a guy now. If only I had known what I know now...

It's an unfortunate situation, but you wouldn't have known what you know now if you didn't do what you did.
If you had given it a chance back then, you would have been drawn to traits in other men that you were attracted to at the time. Therefore, in a parallel universe we might have seen a confession about feeling stuck in a relationship at a young age.
As hard as it is to see, there are many great humans on this earth. You will find one of them.
