Shy bookworm looking for a bookworm boyfriendposted September 16th, 2012 at 1:03 PM I read my favorite novel in public in hopes that a beautiful man will approach me and confess that he loves it too. Please don't be shy. I look forward to meeting you. Show 8 Comments 8 Comments Post a Comment hyo silverSep 16, 2012 at 2:57pmI will. Just as soon as I finish my book..... Roger1234Sep 16, 2012 at 4:08pmReading "Where's Waldo" will not get you the attention of a man you would like to date. beautifulSep 16, 2012 at 5:01pmah, good plan. I play with my junk in public in the hope some kind young lady will confess she loves it too. Don't be shy now. Some Guy Named BobSep 17, 2012 at 5:53amYou know, that’s great, honestly. However, according to some feminist literature (Schrodinger’s Rapist – Google it) I’ve seen, talking to you is exactly what we (dudes) shouldn’t be doing when a gal has her nose in a book.Anyway, best of luck to ya (seriously). Was a very cute confession. CoachSep 17, 2012 at 7:49amGreat post. Do what you enjoy and makes you happy and meet people with similar interests. Makes sense to me. Wrong!Sep 17, 2012 at 1:46pmYou'll meet no one with that sort of meek, wallflower approach. In fact its not an approach at all, you're just extracating yourself from any kind of social engagement, eyes glued to the book, in the hopes some 'beautiful' man will suddenly stand there hovering over you confessing his love for the same book!! What planet are you from? The best part in your post is the line... "please don't be shy"Join a book club! to those that CAN RELATE...Sep 19, 2012 at 3:45pmWhere in Vancouver do you like to go to read/write/study/create/paint? LeeeSep 20, 2012 at 9:10pmYou're so shy that an anonymous confessional is apparently a major part of your mating strategy. Doesn't sound very promising to me. Let me put this in simple terms: You're a woman, which is a relatively scarce commodity. Why not look a stranger in the eyes and then go back to your "favourite novel" next time you're out in public. That way you'll appear somewhat approachable. Join the Discussion Your name Comment * gs email To prevent automated spam submissions leave this field empty.
