I've come to the realization that guys like me watch it is because we don't have girlfriends nor can we meet any women to date, we have low self-esteem, we are losers & let's face women do not watch & are turned off by it & guys who watch it. It's made for men & by men & it's unrealistic view of sex, it makes it look couples can perform like that which is bullshit & really I'm sick of depending on it for my sexual satisfaction,but I'm 52 years never met any mentally stable women to have an relationship with so I guess that's a problem I have to deal with by myself any how that's my vent, just had to get it out. Thank you.

It's wrong to assume that all women don't watch porn and are turned off by it and those who watch it. I, for one, am a woman who loves porn! And there's nothing wrong with that.

I am also a woman and a fan of porn. There is nothing wrong with watching porn as long as a person has a realistic idea of how sex actually is, in real life. You seem to understand that. Don't put yourself down. I think you are just feeling the repercussions of being in singledom for a long period of time. Keep looking for that lady and while you look, indulge guilt free.

Seriously, no mentally stable women and you're 52? I don't know you, but maybe it's time to talk to someone professionally and see if it's you whose not mentally stable. Also, I agree with the comment above. I've dated several women who enjoyed watching porn before we made some ourselves.

You very accurately described a man I met e-harmony last year. He was in his mid-40's and was so incredibly vulgar with me . I was shocked when I met him in person (he doesn't live here) because he wasn't anything like his profile.
I am very stable so the latter part of the confession doesn't apply to me in particular.
That was a very brave confession.
I am sure there are some women really into porn since the industry is huge.

I'm a woman, porn's not my thing, and although it's changing, the truth is most women are like me. Over-all female sexuality is not simplistic enough to get off on porn...thank God.
