So I am a single girl in Vancouver. I'm fun, smart, creative, kind and a host of other kick-butt descriptors. I'm totally GGG and even open to non-monogamy. I'm active, exercising daily and enjoy playing sports.
I've got 2 kids, and I take care of them well... they already have a dad whom they live with half the time, and that whole situation is on the level and amicable. Sounds like a great catch, right? Yeah. Except I am fat. Not grossly obese, about a size 14 and pretty soft in the middle. I'm always afraid that this has doomed me to a life of romantic solitude despite being freaking awesome and pretty too.

I don't think you or I are doomed to solitude b/c of our size. I am similar to you in all the ways you spoke of, except I am an average athletic woman (not a waif, but a woman with curves in the right places)..with great legs and butt and can mtn biking with gusto. And I am single too. I have no idea what it is, for either of us, but it is not our size.... good luck!

I feel like I was reading a description of myself! Except I am a size 2 and have no kids to speak of. I am also perpetually single- and not by choice. Don't worry about your size, babe. No idea what it is either, but I wouldn't worry about a few extra curves.

I am tired of the bullshit around size. Many people find larger women/men very attractive and even preferable to the hyper masculine athletic form that is being pumped by advertisers. Not that you are, but never apologize for your beauty.

It's most certainly not your size... I'm a size 4 and I'm active, social, funny, I have a great job, great friends, play sports... And looks like I will be single for the rest of my days.

I've always loved curvy women. I've dated some thin ones but always came back for the curvy ladies. I'm married to one now and want to grow old with her. We've got a son and life is grand.
Be who you are and only hang with people who love you for it. As some dude said: "to thine own self be true."
