Recently, while socializing I have met some really great people. Single and couples. In two cases, I met two married men. They have their shit together, have kids, good income, nice house...blah blah blah. They married their high school sweethearts. The guys look to be in good shape....maybe 10-15 lbs. overweight, nothing repulsive. The wives are attractive, but have gained a ton of weight. The couples appear to be happy, but I couldn't help but think.....do these guys mind that their wives are really obese. They obviously love their wives...which is great. If it was me...I would be upset and would discuss it with my partner. I kinda got the idea that these guys are "stuck" because of the kids. My girlfriend is younger than me and attractive. They ogled her....it's natural, no big deal. I would be interested in other opinions.......guys, if your partner has gained a lot of weight.....does it bother you?

I'm sure you've noticed ( or not due to your penchant for illiteracy and spectacle)Canada and the US are now run by Corporations. Congrats on four more years of PARTICIPATORY FASCISM!!! You really have to ask your self : IF you were part of the "elite" would you really allow the choosing of your "leader" to be decided by the rabble, unwashed, and those you deem stupid?? Would you? Personally, I will never vote again. Clearly it accomplishes nothing and our politicians are merely sycophantic courtiers who do the bidding of the clearly insane 1%.

I came to Canada in 1980 as a child. My family struggled but we made ends meet. We relied on value village and food banks. I finished high school and college and found a goodjob. I eventually met a great guy who climbed the corporate ladder quickly. We have a great life and I guess we're part of the 1%, but I still feel quilty about having all of this.
