As one of the first groups to be dubbed “the next Smiths”, JAMES became an institution on the British alternative music scene in the 80’s & 90’s. Endorsed by Morrissey, and with hits such as “Laid” and “Sit Down”, JAMES quickly gained a cult following for their eclectic pop-rock-folk sound. Now, after a seven-year absence, JAMES release their 10th album and first new studio album since 2001’s ‘Pleased To Meet You’.
