Be part of the solution with after homelessness... Headlines Theatre's creative response to Vancouver's homelessness crisis.

We witness homelessness every day: in the news, outside our windows and in our lives. We know solutions exist, but how do we tap into them?

In all the controversy surrounding the homeless emergency in Metro Vancouver, how do we create safe and affordable housing in the region? What services do we need? Where do we find the space? These are just a few of the questions Headlines Theatre will be tackling in after homelessness…

Directed by David Diamond and created and performed by people who have been homeless, and have lived with issues of mental health, after homelessness… will explore the subject of supported and affordable housing through Forum Theatre. Audience members can jump on stage to take the place of any character to offer their perspectives and solutions on the issue.

Prizing:

  • One pair of tickets valid for any performance of after homelessness… except Saturday evenings and November 21, 2009. Tickets are subject to availability at the time of booking. Tickets must be picked up at least 15 minutes prior to showtime or they will be released for sale to the general public.
