After 10 years, Alexisonfire has decided to part ways and will play their last show in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum on December 17.

A date at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton has been added to the tail end of the tour as Alexisonfire wanted to do a show as close to their hometown of St. Catharines as possible. "For our last show ever, we thought it would be nice to bring it closer to where we grew up," says guitarist and vocalist, Wade MacNeil. "Hamilton is where George calls home. It's where I was born, and it's where we have played countless, amazing shows over the years. This show will be a celebration of the last 10 years of our music and growing up together. I can't think of a better way to end the tour."

When the tour was originally announced, there was no date confirmed in Vancouver, even though the band had been diligently trying to make a show happen. Disappointed Vancouver fans certainly made themselves heard on social media and the band's website. Alexisonfire heard the pleas coming from the West Coast and are pleased to announce they will be able to make it out to Vancouver for one final show at Pacific Coliseum on December 17. In addition, due to overwhelming demand from fans, the Calgary show has moved across the street from the original venue, to BMO Centre on December 20.

Alexisonfire's success reached beyond Canada's borders. The band topped charts and graced several notable music magazine covers (Kerrang, Blunt, Big Cheese, Exclaim, Canadian Musician). They performed on the main stage of legendary festivals like Reading and Leeds and took overToronto for a six-night stay boasting over 9,000 tickets sold, and sold out tours in Canada, the U.S., UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
