Win tickets to David Greig's Yellow Moon, presented by Théâtre la Seizième
Théâtre la Seizième presents Yellow Moon at Studio 16 from January 23 to 26. A cross between Bonnie and Clyde and Romeo and Juliet, this suspenseful rite of passage, drawn from the Scottish repertory, “keeps you glued to your seat for the entire 90 minutes” (Montreal Gazette). The show is presented in French with English surtitles on both Thursday and Saturday.
Two teenagers lost in a long-forgotten Scottish village cross paths at the corner stone. Lee is a rebellious young man well known by social services. Leila is a young woman from a good family walled in by silence. They couldn’t be more different. And yet, when something goes wrong, together they flee to the mountains of the north. There they hope to find Lee’s father, who disappeared years earlier. But at their final destination, they find themselves alone, faced with each other and their future together.
