After wowing Vancouver audiences with their performance of Michael Gordon’s Timber in 2013, VNM is excited to welcome back Mantra Percussion. Committed to honoring the deep past and expanding the far-flung future of percussion music, Mantra brings to life works for percussion by living composers. The ensemble returns to Vancouver with a program that includes a world premiere by Canadian composer Paul Dolden, plus Canadian premieres of works by Leslie Flanigan, Tristan Perich, and Aaron Siegel.
