Win tickets to PEP Talks speaker Lenore Skenazy, presented by the Vancouver International Children's Festival

Enter to win two tickets to see Lenore Skenazy for a thought-provoking evening on raising Free-Range Kids, as part of the new PEP Talks parenting speaker series starting March 7.

PEP Talks is a new speaker series presented by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival that brings to Vancouver four compelling speakers over four consecutive months (March through June 2013) to delve into the challenging and sometimes messy world of parenting today’s millennial child.

Events for this parenting educational program take place at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton Street) on March 7, April 10, May 15, and June 12 at 7:30 p.m., with net proceeds to benefit the Vancouver International Children’s Festival.

Lenore Skenazy is “America’s Worst Mom”. (Google it!) The New York City columnist-turned reality TV show host got that title after letting her 9-year-old son take the subway alone. In response to the enormous media blowback, she founded the book and blog, Free-Range Kids, which launched the anti-helicopter parenting movement.
