The epic holiday masterwork G.F. Handel’s Messiah, presented by Vancouver Bach Choir is at the Orpheum on December 12 at 8 p.m.

The internationally celebrated symphonic choir will bring new life to this magnificent gem as they join with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and an ensemble of celebrated Canadian soloists. Audiences are invited to bask in the euphoric harmonies, sonorous orchestrations, and soaring arias of Handel’s extraordinary oratorio featuring the iconic and immortal "Hallelujah" chorus.

The evening features internationally renowned Simone Osborne, marking the soprano’s first ever performance of Handel’s glorious work, as she shares the stage with an array of illustrious fellow soloists, including mezzo-soprano Susan Platts, tenor Andrew Haji, and baritone Daniel Okulitch.
