Presented by Vancouver Poetry House, enter to win two passes to the Verses Festival of Words, taking place from April 23 to May 3.

Verses is the largest alternative literary festival in Canada and this year we're adding youth poetry festival Hullabaloo to our event, as well as many new shows, new venues, and returning favourites. We'll also be hosting our first gala, Jangle & Shout: a Hulla-Verses Remixer, on April 26 at the York Theatre, featuring performances from (nearly) every artist in both the youth and adult programming.

Vancouver Poetry House also presents the Vancouver Poetry Slam, the longest running slam in Canada. Each year at the festival, the best slam poets in the country come together and compete in the Canadian Individual Slam Championships. Use your passes to check out the finals May 2 at the Rio Theatre, with a special presentation by Vancouver Poet Laureate Rachel Rose.
