The Vancouver South African Film Festival is proud to present features and documentaries that explore the culture, history and politics of South Africa — films that entertain and inform.

This year’s lineup includes the award-winning documentary The Shore Break, the critically-acclaimed Afrikaans film Dis ek, Anna, and our Spotlight on Africa falls on Ethiopia and Difret, a Sundance award winner from producer Angelina Jolie.

VSAFF is a non-profit event organized entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds go to support the important education development work Education without Borders has been doing in South African since 2002. Now in its sixth year, VSAFF has raised almost $85,000 for EwB.
