If you’re looking for a token of affection to give on Valentine’s Day, check out TARTS Bakery (1509 West Broadway). The shop is reshaping some of its traditional round pastries into charming hearts through February 14. Tart fillings include lemon, butter pecan, and baked strawberry cheesecake. Find a list of all the varieties on the TARTS Bakery website and order in advance if you’re after one in particular. (Each 4.75-inch tart runs $6.49 to $7.99.) The raspberry macaroon tart, made with raspberry jam and coconut, is baker Lisa Coan’s specialty. (She owns the place with sister Shawna Coan.) Savoury tarts are also available.
