Restaurant insiders voted Hamid Salimian the best chef in Vancouver.

A team ofGeorgia Straight staffers called up over 100 local restaurateurs, chefs, and managers, and asked them to name the best restaurants in Vancouver in 12 categories. Here are the results.

Kudos to The Pear Tree. The great food, service and charming ambience has long made this a go to when we lived in Vancouver and now travel for visits. In my opinion this is a must dine here as are Tojos, le Crocodile, and Vij's.
