This weekend’s B.C. Distilled event is a fun way to catch up with all the distillery action happening in the province.

On Saturday (April 18), 23 B.C. microdistilleries will be pouring samples at CBC Studio One (700 Hamilton Street). Ten of these have opened in the past year, and diverse products include whisky, gin, limoncello, kirsch, mint vodka, and vodka distilled from mead (honey wine).

Tickets cost $49.99 or $59.99 plus service charge for the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. tasting sessions, respectively. Partial proceeds go to the B.C. Hospitality Foundation; find info and tickets at the BC Distilled website.
