If you’ve been meaning to check out New Westminster’s Steel & Oak Brewing Co., here’s a good excuse to finally hop on the SkyTrain.

Next Thursday (June 11), owner Jorden Foss will lead a brewery tour (at 1319 Third Avenue) followed by a brewmaster’s dinner with chef Justin Cheung at Longtail Kitchen at the nearby River Market.

Beers like Royal City Ale with Szechuan peppercorns and honey, and a radler with makrut lime will be paired with dishes like Thai-style sockeye-salmon tartare, southern-Thai style curry, and crispy duck salad.
