MELU Juice and Health Bar opens in Vancouver's Coal Harbour

The cold-pressed juice trend is still gaining momentum in Vancouver, with more shops opening every month. The latest is MELU Juice and Health Bar, which opened in Coal Harbour on July 15.

Owned by Angela Luo and Melissa Woo, MELU serves cold-pressed juices, vegan nut mylks, and superfood smoothies.

The smoothies can act as meal replacements, or there are also options of raw salads, such as the "Undercover Spaghetti & Meatballs" made with zucchini noodles, vegan meatballs, tomato, basil, walnuts, and olive oil.

Chia puddings, overnight oats, and dessert health bars are on the menu at MELU.

Other options include overnight oatmeals, chia puddings, and desserts called Health Bars.

The shop also offers cleanse programs from one to three days.

MELU is located at 1110 West Pender Street near Thurlow Street. It's open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
