      Have $45,000 to spare?

Consider splurging on a rare, 50-year-old Scotch whisky from Balvenie, which will be available in Vancouver on January 12.

Housed in an elegant, hand-blown flask and packaged in a cylindrical container made from wood, the Balvenie Fifty is the 68th bottle of its kind offered by the Scottish distillery.

It is one of only 131 bottles produced and will be the only bottle available in Canada.

The limited-edition single malt comes from Warehouse 24, the home of Balvenie’s oldest and most sought-after whiskies. Characterized as rich, deep, and lush, it features an abundance of oak flavours and notes of sweet raisins, ginger, and cinnamon.

The Balvenie Fifty will be available exclusively at B.C. Liquor Stores’ Cambie Street location (5555 Cambie Street).
