Scottish distillery Balvenie has released one of only 131 bottles of its coveted Fifty whisky in Vancouver and its new owner will be chosen by random draw.

Interested parties will have the opportunity to purchase the limited-edition, 50-year-old bottle from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow (January 13) at B.C. Liquor Store (5555 Cambie Street).

Each potential buyer will need to complete a waiver and one lucky winner will be drawn randomly from the pool of candidates. The winner must be able to purchase the bottle immediately.

In case you’d like to sample the whisky before committing to the $45,000 price tag, you can stop by the same Cambie location from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m tomorrow for a consumer tasting.
