Vancouver Starbucks drinkers won’t have to wait in line anymore

If you’re a Starbucks app user, you won’t be stuck in long lines during those early morning coffee runs or mid-afternoon breaks at Starbucks for much longer.

The coffee giant will be launching its Mobile Order & Pay feature on its Starbucks app starting next Tuesday (January 19). Customers will be able to order and pay ahead of picking up their food or beverage purchases.

The feature will be available at over 130 store locations in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Gibsons, and Sechelt.

The new in-app feature will allow users to customize their orders. Coffee lovers can also check out the estimated pick up times before confirming their orders.

This extended mobile app feature first launched in Toronto last October, and the success of the service has prompted the company to continue its expansion to Vancouver.
