Vancouver chef Angus An collaborates with Montreal chef Antonio Park for a five-course sauternes dinner

      Maenam’s chef Angus An will welcome special guests chef Antonio Park of Montreal restaurants Park and Lavanderia, as well as wine guru and Straight contributor Kurtis Kolt for an evening of food and drink.

      The special dinner (January 31)—hosted by Kolt—will take place at Pacific Restaurant Supply (1020 East Cordova Street) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

      Guests will begin with chilled champagne and canapés before proceeding to a five-course spicy Asian cuisine paired with four vintages of Château de Fargues aged sauternes (2001, 2005, 2009, 2011).

      Chef Angus will also be pouring a special vintage Bordeaux from his privation collection—a 1995 Tertre Rotebeouf St Emilion Grand Cru.
