The owner of the popular Bob Likes Thai Food eateries has opened up another foodie venture, this time specializing in Thai tapas or grub gam (in Thai).

Thai Confusion (117 West Pender Street) offers food and drink items that fuse different cultures and global influences while maintaining an authentic Thai style.

The lunch menu includes dishes like a traditional green curry chicken with rice ($12) mixed with winter melon, lime leaf with rice, and organic greens.

The new restaurant serves Thai tapas such as green papaya salad or som tam ($9), which combines shredded green papaya with green beans, tomato, garlic, chillies, peanut, fish sauce, and fresh lime juice.

Its roadside grilled chicken or gai yang ($12) is a grilled marinated chicken with lemongrass, chili, kaffir lime, fish sauce, served with a house-made chili dip.
