      Carolina and Denver face off this Sunday (February 7) at 3:30 p.m. for the 50th Super Bowl and the hunt is on among die-hard football fans for the best venues to experience the game. Luckily, there are tons of local restaurants and bars that are more than willing to cater—regardless of whether you’re there for the Panthers, Broncos, or Beyoncé’s half-time appearance.

      Here are 12 restaurants and bars across the city where you can catch this Sunday’s game. Reservations are highly recommended at each, unless otherwise noted.

      Craft Beer Market, 85 West 1st Avenue

      Cheer on your fave team amid one of the largest craft beer selections in the city at Craft Beer Market. The restaurant will be debuting its all-day happy hour on Sunday, when you can sip $5 local beers, highballs, and six-ounce house wines from morning to night. Reservations are filling up quick and early arrivals are recommended—especially if you’re planning to dig into brunch plates like farmhouse bennies and snickerdoodle waffles, which will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

      The Charles Bar, 136 West Cordova Street

      Boasting some of the largest TV screens in Gastown, The Charles Bar is one of the best places in Vancouver to catch the Super Bowl. Knock back $4 Caesars and cider mimosas pre-game before leveling up to $18 buckets of Coors Banquet—and keep your fingers crossed for the slew of giveaway prizes. Celebrate the win (or drown your sorrows) with DJ C-Stylez, who will be spinning throwback beats well into the evening. Reservations are full, but you can still score a seat on a first-come, first-served basis.

      Score on Davie, 1262 Davie Street

      Hit the bar early at Score on Davie, where tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 10 a.m., but you’ll be more than occupied until game-time with the restaurant’s hearty brunch menu and epic, dressed-to-the-nines Caesars. $4.50 pints of Lucky Lager will also be on special throughout the day.

      Portside Pub, 7 Alexander Street

      Portside Pub is opening its doors at noon on Sunday for a full day of Super Bowl debauchery. Expect $4 sleeves and cans, an extensive, Super Bowl-themed menu, and tons of awesome prizes, plus drink samplings from Jim Beam and Lighthouse Brewing Company. The game will be projected on a 120-inch screen and attendees are more than welcome to stick around afterward, when DJ Nick Bike and The Stuntman Greg take the deck for the ultimate long weekend party.

      St. Augustine’s, 2360 Commercial Drive

      Avoid the throngs of football fans downtown and head to the Drive, where St. Augustine’s is hosting a tap takeover with Green Flash Brewing Company and Alpine Beer Company. Enjoy uber-rare suds from the two breweries in a paddle and you’ll automatically be entered to win a jersey at every quarter. Brunch will be available until 3 p.m., and a special, complementary food menu will be served afterward. Doors open at 11 a.m. and reservations are limited.

      The Lamplighter Public House, 92 Water Street

      The Lamplighter Public House is kicking off its Super Bowl party with a pre-game happy hour from noon to 3 p.m. that will feature $5 B.C. beers, highballs, and house wines. Brunch will also be served during this time before the Gastown pub kicks it into high-gear with an all-you-can-eat burger deal for $30, which you can enjoy in front of the many HD screens. Reservations are full but walk-ins are still welcome the day of.

      Tap & Barrel, #76-1055 Canada Place

      The Tap & Barrel at Olympic Village is completely booked (even walk-ins will have a difficult time nabbing a table), but the restaurant’s Convention Centre location is still taking reservations. The waterfront spot will be serving brunch until 3 p.m., discounted Caesars, and a menu of special Super Bowl deals that includes $1.50 off glasses of Phillips Blue Buck. One lucky, social media-savvy viewer will also walk away with a 55-inch television.

      The Belmont Bar, 1006 Granville Street, and Doolin’s Irish Pub, 654 Nelson Street

      The Belmont Bar and Doolin’s Irish Pub are teaming up for a giant Super Bowl Party starting at 11:30 a.m. this Sunday. Hosted by 102.7 The Peak’s Sonia Sidhu, the party features plenty of under-$5 drink specials and a tailgate menu with items like the beast-mode burger. Over $5,000 worth of prizes will be given away through fun games that will keep the crowd engaged during commercial breaks. The event will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to plan early.

      The Pint Public House, 455 Abbott Street

      Early risers will be happy see that The Pint Public House opens at 8 a.m. this Sunday, which should allow ample time to secure a table. The bar will be offering its $12 “hangover brunch” until 4 p.m., along with $5 pints of Budweiser and Bud Light all day. The British Columbia Lottery Corporation will also be onsite throughout the game with tons of sweet prizes to give away.

      A massive 202-inch screen will ensure prime views from all angles at The Butcher & Bullock.

      The Butcher & Bullock, 911 West Pender Street

      Tailgate-inspired dishes and traditional football squares are both on the menu at The Butcher & Bullock, which will be playing the game on a massive 202-inch screen this Sunday. $15 buckets of Miller Lite will be available and guests can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a year’s supply of beer. The event starts at 2 p.m. and limited reservations remain.

      The Cove Neighbourhood Pub, 3681 West 4th Avenue

      The Cove Neighbourhood Pub in Kitsilano is hosting a Super Bowl shindig of its own with an all-day $11 beer-and-wings special and $4.50 sleeves of Molson Canadian. Random giveaways will also offer football fans the chance to score prizes like an Apple TV and various jerseys. Doors open at 10 a.m. and walk-ins are encouraged to arrive early.

      Red Card Sports Bar + Eatery, 560 Smithe Street

      Red Card Sports Bar + Eatery is offering football fans the chance to secure their preferred table ahead of time for $20—simply stop by on any day leading up to the game, pay the fee, and return at 2 p.m. on Sunday to your reserved seat. $20 buckets of Budweiser and $5 beers will be on special and attendees will have the chance to score cool swag like TVs, jerseys, and Canucks tickets.
