Vancouver Farmers Market kicks off the season

      Vancouver Farmers Market season is off and running, with seven locations scheduled to be open through the fall.

      The Yaletown market (on Mainland Street between Davie and Helmcken) kicked off May 1 and runs every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

      Trout Lake’s market starts this Saturday (May 10) and happens Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the north parking lot of John Hendry Park.

      In Kitsilano, the market at 2690 Larch Street debuts this Sunday (May 11) and takes place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

      The West End market resumes May 31, Main Street’s on June 4, and Kerrisdale’s on June 14, while a new Mount Pleasant market starts June 15. For details, see eatlocal.org/.
