Wine for Waves: Naramata Bench’s wine and food event to benefit Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise program

      The Naramata Bench Wineries Association will be hosting their annual spring wine release event—Wine for Waves (April 28) at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver (791 West Georgia Street) from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

      This year, they have partnered with the Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise program—a conservation program to educate and empower consumers about issues revolving around sustainable seafood.

      The culinary event will allow guests to taste newly released spring wines from Naramata Bench, meet winemakers and owners, indulge in Ocean Wise food pairings, and bid on exclusive Naramata wines and experiences.

      Guests will be sampling food and drink creations from YEW seafood + bar, Mosquito Dessert, Fanny Bay Oyster Bar, Vancouver Fish Company, Hillside Wintery Bistro, Upper Bench Wintery and Creamery, and many more.

      New to this year’s event is Legacy Liquor Store being on site, which will allow attendees to purchase Naramata wines to take home. A percentage of the sales profit will be donated to Ocean Wise.

      Tickets ($110) can be purchased online. All proceeds will go to benefit Ocean Wise.
