For those who have been eager to try David Hawksworth’s second Vancouver restaurant, the wait is over.

Nightingale (1017 West Hastings Street) officially opens tonight, and guests can expect to indulge in everything from tasty shared plates to original cocktails.

Its menu features a large selection of food items, including Sawmill Bay gem oysters, prosciutto di parma pizza, charred pacific rockfish, and grilled pork belly.

Dessert-lovers will be happy to know that there’s more than ice cream for a sweet end to their meal, such as salted caramel pot de crème, yogurt panna cotta, and hazelnut financier.

Located in a historical 19th century building, the eatery boasts a contrasting interior of remodeled library furniture and marble counters.
