We all need something to look forward to after the long weekend, so why not schedule some fun for Wednesday night?

On August 6, you can wine and dine for a good cause at the British Columbia chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier’s annual Summerdine event. 

The event takes place at 40 restaurants across B.C. For $79 per person, you get a dinner that includes wine pairings at restaurants such as Chicha, Hamilton Street Grill, ZEST Japanese Cuisine, and the Hart House Restaurant. 

Each restaurant donates a single table in its garden, courtyard, vineyard, urban patio, or kitchen and serves a multicourse set menu inspired by the summer bounty. Les Dames provides the wine, which is donated by local vineyards.

All the proceeds—100 percent—benefit Les Dames scholarships and initiatives for women pursuing food-related careers.

While some restaurants are already sold out, there's still time to buy tickets for those remaining if you act quickly.
