If you're looking for a sweet treat this weekend, there's a new place to get your fix: Bella Gelateria in Yaletown.

A second location of James Coleridge's popular artisan sweet shop opened yesterday (August 28) across the water at 1089 Marinaside Crescent.

This one is more spacious than the Coal Harbour location, with 80 seats and a patio.

It's also open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring Napoletana-style pizzas made in this fancy stone oven from Naples.

You can get your gelato fix at the counter, or watch the process of making it through a glassed-in "laboratory".

The restaurant is also liscensed and specializes in "gelatinis", or gelato martinis.
