Vancouver Craft Beer Week gets in holiday spirit with December event
Vancouver Craft Beer Week doesn’t happen until May, but the first of a new series of satellite events takes place on December 5.
This one is called A Very VCBW Non-Denominational Holiday Beer Festival, and it runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Studio East (1480 Frances Street).
Twenty breweries—including Yellow Dog, Steel & Oak, and Copper & Theory—will showcase their winter beers; there will also be music, an ugly-sweater contest, food-truck fare, and more.
The event is produced in conjunction with the Lamplighter Public House and Gastown Beer Society; tickets at the Ticket Zone website cost $49 (plus taxes and fees) and include unlimited beer samples.
