Taste of Yaletown returns for its 12th year with a focus on share plates and pairings

More than 30 restaurants just announced for the annual two-week dining event that features some of the neighbourhood's best eateries

      Sharing and pairing is the theme of this year’s Taste of Yaletown (TOY), an annual two-week dining event with a whopping 31 participating restaurants.

      From October 13 to 27, restaurants will offer exclusive three-course menus consisting of share plates along with cocktail- and wine-pairing combinations at set prices of $25, $35, and $45.

      Participating restaurants are:  21 Nautical Miles Seafood Bar, Bistro Sakana, Brix and Mortar, Cactus Club Café, DD Mau, the Greek by Anatoli, Hapa Izakaya, Honjin Sushi, House Special, Hub Yaletown, Hurricane Grill, Kuma Izakaya, La Pentola, La Terraza, Lime and Moon Pie Company, Little Saigon Yaletown, Minami Restaurant, New Oxford Public House, the Distillery Bar + Kitchen, the Parlour Yaletown, Provence Marinaside, Rodney’s Oyster House, Romer’s , Simply Thai Restaurant, Sushi Maro, Urban Thai Bistro, West Oak Restaurant, WildTale Coastal Grill, Yaletown Brewing Company, Yaletown L’Antipasto, and Zend Conscious Lounge.

      Presented by the Yaletown Business Improvement Association, TOY will, as in past years, make a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Since the event started in 2004, it has raised more than $112,000 in support of community initiatives.
