Get cosy in the sumptuous leather club chairs and velvet booths and enjoy an Old Fashioned. Crafted with Jim Beam Black bourbon, Angostura bitters, orange bitters and just the right amount of orange peel, each flavour delicately swirls around the other, beautifully harmonized in this boozy but easy sipping cocktail.

Perfected classics are part of the lounge staples and prominently feature in the Social Hour menu where you can choose from a Manhattan, French 75, Bourbon Sour or The Graduate for just $8.

Keeping it Fresh

Not only has the expert bar team perfected the classics, they excel at creating modern and unique libations featuring today’s most intriguing twists. An almost sinfully delicious Grounds For Divorce features Big Gin Bourbon Barrell Aged, Lillet, Galliano, lemon, rose and lavender, egg white froth and Crème Yvette. As exquisite to drink as is it to look at, this heavenly concoction will heighten your senses with hints of fresh botanicals.

Chemical Attraction

And that’s part of what makes great cocktails special. It starts with having the right chemistry – the perfect measure of fine spirits, fresh ingredients and the occasional “secret potion”. It all comes together in harmony to create a pleasing balance.  And, of course, the deft hand of an experienced mixologist to bring it all together with care.

Fall Getaway

With its high ceilings and stunning art deco decor, Gotham’s iconic bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a well-crafted cocktail or selection from the award-winning wine cellar. Weekday Social Hour from 3-6pm features a house DJ spinning vinyl, followed by live music from some of the country’s best musicians playing a mix of soul, blues and contemporary pop.
