The 33rd annual Vancouver Home + Design Show returns at the end of the month (October 27 to 30) to Vancouver Convention Centre West (1055 Canada Place), and consumers can expect some mouth-watering features among the long list of exhibitors.

Situated among the interior design, home furnishings, and high-tech appliance booths is the Samsung Cooking Stage—a place where local Vancouver chefs will showcase their culinary talent.

Event-goers will be able to watch live-cooking demonstrations presented by popular chefs including Jan-Michael Reyes of Loco Ono Kitchen, Adam Chandler of Beta 5 Chocolates, Steven Ewing from Yolk’s Restaurant & Commissary, Deniz Tarakcioglu of Medina Café, and others.

“Vancouver has established itself as a foodie’s paradise and is home to the most inspiring and eclectic global cuisines,” said Tyson Kidd, show manager for Marketplace Events, producers of the Vancouver Home + Design Show, in a press statement. “We’re absolutely thrilled to be welcoming some of the best names in the restaurant scene to this year’s show.”

Some of the cooking highlights will feature the art of making unique cream puffs, creating Mediterranean-inspired brunch, as well as learning how to cook food truck fare.
