Halloween (October 31) is quickly approaching, and soon enough the city will have witches, vampires, and superheroes (or in this year’s case, the cast from popular Netflix series Stranger Things) roaming around neighbourhoods and invite-only parties.

To mark the occasion of Jack-o-lanterns, haunted houses, and the fact that it’s been a while since it was appropriate for you to go trick-or-treating, indulge in some of Vancouver’s delicious Halloween treats.

From cute ghost cookies to monster cupcakes, and chocolate pumpkins to traditional Purdy’s sweets, you’ll realize that Halloween candies and pastries aren’t limited to kids.

Here are 11 spooky treats that will satisfy your Halloween sweet tooth.
