Vancouver’s Postmark Brewing has once again been announced as the official licensee and beer partner for the upcoming HSBC Canada Sevens Tournament and will be re-releasing its special Sevens IPA for the occasion.

Packaged in a red, Canada Sevens–branded can, the Sevens IPA is described as an approachable brew that emphasizes a balanced flavour profile over intense hop.

It will be available at select B.C. Liquor Stores and private liquor stores starting February 15, 2017.

The beer will also be available at BC Place (777 Pacific Boulevard)—the site of the men’s tournament—from March 11 to 12, 2017. For the women’s tournament, the IPA will be sold at Westhills Stadium (1089 Langford Parkway) in Langford, B.C., from May 27 to 28, 2017.

During this time, select restaurants, bars, and brew pubs throughout the Lower Mainland and Victoria will also have the IPA on draught.

The 2016 HSBC Canada Sevens Tournament set sales records at BC Place, drawing thousands of rugby fans to Vancouver over a two-day period. Tickets for this year’s men’s tournament are 90 percent sold out.

Postmark Brewing will also serve as the licensee and beer partner for the 2018 and 2019 tournaments.
