Elixir Bistro closes down, 100 Days pops up

Comments

Elixir Bistro in the Opus hotel (350 Davie Street) closed August 22, and a pop-up restaurant is slated to open to the public in its place Saturday (August 28). It’s called 100 Days because it will only operate for that long before it closes to allow the construction of a new restaurant, which will debut next year. The pop-up’s décor will be raw and industrial, with graffiti art by Vince Dumoulin. The dinner menu features comfort food like duck pot pie ($15), cheese cannelloni ($14), and grilled cheese with truffles and boar bacon ($14). The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily; see opushotel.com.
