Kerrisdale Village Farmers Market sets up shop

Following a test run last year, Vancouver Farmers Markets has just launched a new location for produce shopping. Find the Kerrisdale Village Farmers Market near Kerrisdale Arena on East Boulevard between West 37th and West 41st avenues. The market runs every Saturday until October 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s strawberry season, so be sure to get your fill at any of the markets. (For locations, see eatlocal.org/.) Next Wednesday (July 18), the Main Street Station market will host a berry festival, with tips on cooking with and preserving the bounty. The market runs every Wednesday until October 3 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. near Main Street SkyTrain Station along Thornton Park.
